The M/V SEAL plans were finished in 1925 her keel was laid and she was finished in 1926. She was the FIRST "Fish and Wildlife Patrol Vessel" built to research and protect The Territory of Alaska's resources and combat fish piracy.
The M/V SEAL has hailed Juneau as her home port for 84 Years.
The mission statements clear. In 2004 I needed the M/V SEAL as much as she needed me. I began restoring her with my every moment of time and every dime since for a purpose greater than self. My mission is to restore the SEAL as a not for profit (501c3) investment to return her to her intended mission of design and duty of purpose (using period tools and traditional materials as well as modern day methods tools and products)
