⊹⊱⋛⋋Miaku 2000-2011⋌⋚⊰⊹
Miaku my Spiritual Navigator & Bodhisattva path to enlightenment. Her unconditional and unselfish love touched so many peoples lives. Equally so many people showed kindess to her that changed and touched so many other peoples lives. Thank you to everyone for sharing in the love for my best friend Miaku. She met me at a very strange time in my life. She needed me as much as I needed her. Owner release living in a plastic kennel in the back of a womans mini van parked outside her apartment, which did not allow pets. Miaku was about 11 weeks old and the size of a chubby loaf of soft bread ♥ I got the benefit of learning more important lessons from her than any cool trick I could ever teach her. She Loved to play catch endlessly bringing things back for me to throw even swimming out into deep water to get them. That was our thing. Her early years we shared in a 30' Motorhome exploring every cool fishing spot in Juneau. She was raised on salmon she often times pulled out of the creek herself, which I cleaned brined smoked and canned for her to eat. She grew up on at least 1 can of smoked salmon every day ♥ Maybe thats why she grew to a healthy 130-150lbs! Miaku was often times very nocturnal, almost as if she looked over me while I slept. I miss waking up covered in her toys as she brings them in one by one to share with me all night long. Each morning I would scoop up arm fulls of toys and return them to her big bed under the galley table. For a number of years we parked that motorhome out on the flats next to an old barn were she had an entire horse paddock to herself, and a couple chickens she liked to play with. She Loved to help me dig up potatos for dinner, it was our thing. People underestimate the fun that can be had throwing around a potato before you eat it. Not Miaku. She knew, this was as fun.In the summer time after work and on the weekends I would take her downtown to socialize with the 10,000 tourists each day we get in Juneau. Eventually I made her a cart that she LOVED to pull little kids.
